I am a neurodiversity activist, musician, and filmmaker, aiming to build bridges between disability culture and allies to build neurodiversity, disability history, and disability pride.
WHo I am
I am a former selective mute, having spoke to almost no one for five years, and identify as both Aspergers and dyslexic. I was also diagnosed with male to female gender dysphoria. I am a proud almuni of the residential treatment centers Andress Children's Center and Summit Nyack. I have been playing guitar, and writing songs for many years. I have a certificate in audio engineering and music production from Recording Connection Audio Institute and a certificate in writing, directing, and producing films from Film Connection Film Institute. I have an BA degree in History from SUNY Empire State college. I have been doing public speaking for years to raise acceptance of disability and neurodiversity, paying special attention to this work in the Jewish community and media as well.
